MKT Software Designs, Inc. announces its acquisition by Tamlin Software Developers, Inc. The acquisition was formalized on February 1st, 2006 and will provide the resources to better service our customers.
Tamlin Software Developers, Inc. provides Shop Floor Control, MRP and Enterprise Optimization solutions to small and mid-range manufacturers, food processors, and distributors. Established in September 1991, Tamlin Software Developers, Inc. is dedicated to understanding a customer's business goals and providing automated solution using proven technology engineered to meet their needs. Recognizing the benefits of combining experienced staff, products, loyal customer base, and position in the AccountMate reseller channel, Tamlin and MKT seized the opportunity. With the integration of our two companies we will become the largest and most successful AccountMate reseller.

November, 2005 – MKT and SOS Consulting Enhance Strategic Partnership
MKT and SOS Consulting reached an agreement to enhance their strategic partnership. September, 2005 – MKT Releases BETA for Credit Card Processing Add-On
MKT developed a Credit Card Processing program that provides the ability to process credit card transactions directly through Visual AccountMate. Credit Card transactions are processed over a secure internet connection from each workstation and do not require any additional equipment or central server software to operate. August, 2005 – MKT Attends Bioterrorism Compliance Seminar
MKT attended the Bioterrorism Compliance Seminar for Food Manufactures held in Dallas, Texas. The seminar was sponsored by Tamlin Software Developers and co-sponsored by AccountMate Software Corporation. MKT completed a two day intense one-on-one training program for Manufacturing Conductor™ (MC) at the headquarters of Tamlin Software Developers in Dallas, Texas. Guy Hodgdon at MKT spent two intense days of training on the Everest Manufacturing
software. Topics covered where Features & Functions of the Everest Work Order,
Shop Floor Control, Shop Floor Data Collection and Production Planning modules
as well as installation, implementation and support. Everest Manufacturing Software
is a mature software suite that converts AccountMate into a complete manufacturing
system that manages the production process from raw materials to finished goods.

In late April, MKT Software Designs is planning to release a version
upgrade of MKT Tools SQL Data program, compatible with VAM SQL
V6.
In addition to the VAM SQL V6 compatibility, MKT will also release

Over the past years, the AccountMate Business Partner Conference
has grown into the largest and one of the most important events
for AccountMate Business Partners. Dedicated Business Partners
from different parts of the world come together and use this
event as the avenue to exchange ideas, share expertise, promote
mutual support and foster comradeship.
Guy Hodgdon
from MKT Software Designs discussed his programming design ideas
and expertise with fellow Business Partners in the “Making
Your Modifications Upgradeable” presentation. Understanding
the need for a cost-effective way to move customer modifications
from one version to another, Guy designed a method to accomplish
this task and shared his approach with the audience. By applying
these methods to existing customer jobs, MKT has drastically reduced
the time and cost of upgrading customer modifications.
